Calleguas Municipal Water District provides its Ventura County service area with a reliable supplemental supply of regional and locally developed water in an environmentally and economically responsible manner.
Responsive Design
Providing access on all devices to public information on the current status of the local water supply was the driving force for the Calleguas move to a responsive website. The custom design incorporates a water theme with a call to action slider paired next to their familiar navigation. New quicklinks were also created on the home page for frequently visited pages.
CMS Platform
Calleguas needs the power to update their site on their own terms. Our Thinking2 CMS provides the power to inform the public and their service area with current information regarding the supply and development of the local water distribution industry.
Custom Apps
To keep the public up-to-date on the happenings of Calleguas, Thinking2 developed an easy to use Agendas & Minutes App with easy integration for publicly posting current and past board meetings. A Project & Bidding App was also developed for organizing and posting public notice information on new projects open to bidding.
Social Media Integration
Staying connected to the public via Facebook and Twitter keeps Calleguas constituents informed. Integrated feeds display the status of the water distribution industry including drought updates, precipitation reports, infrastructure enhancements, new laws and codes, current weather stats and more.
